Almost Finishing Our Juice Carton

Today this Wednesday my class I went to tech at Tamaki College. At tech, my group, Jessica, Kain, Mary-Ruth, Sonie, Kate and Diego were sent to a class known as graphic class. Our teacher Mrs Ferguson
was our art teacher.

At graphic we meet some of the St Pius Students. In the graphic class we were working on juice carton. We learnt that the juice carton has to be the length and the some height, so we had to use a rule to length it and check if it is the some height. It was amazing that we had to draw the image that will be on the front of the carton, and it was also amazing that we could and design it our-self. My juice carton is going to be designed for the Tamaki student that will be thirsty and dehydrated.

Spending Time With My Cousin.

I really enjoyed my holiday, because I had a chance to see my older cousin. My cousin is 15 years old and we have not seen each other ever since he moved to Cook Island.

We spent a lot of time playing games on his PS4. We played Call Of Duty, 2k17 and other games. On last week Thursday his mum and I went to the beach to do a little bit of bombing, and then we had lunch under a massive tree.

When we went back home dinner was already served for my cousin and I, it was taro, chicken, salad and mash potato.

Penguin Swims From NZ To Australia.

A small penguin has swum from New Zealand to Australia. The Fiordland penguin was caught struggling against rocks in the shallow at Kennett river, west of Melbourne, on 10 July.

The Fiordland penguin has been taken to Melbourne Zoo by the marine experts and had been given a balance of fluids and nutrients until it is well enough to eat less food. The penguin has just been let go in the wild and I just hope it would come back to New Zealand.

The penguin has been traveling 2500km

Silver Ferns Win There Game Against Australia

The Silver Ferns have won there game against Australia by 1 point to demand the Netball championship. Australia were going into the netball competition. They've always been the Netball champs since 2003.  The results have been shown and it is saying that New Zealand has won 5 games.

The game itself, as you would expect was exciting. The Silver Ferns led 28-25 at half time and again by 4 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Australia fought back in the final quarter and won it by three goals but now New Zealand did as much to hang on to win the game.

My Fun Holiday

I really enjoyed my holiday because I was able to stay over at my cousin's house. We played a lot of games on his play station 4, mostly Fornite. On Saturday my cousin had his rugby game against Glenora in the city, and our team is called Ellerslie Eagles. I also saw Tristan at the game. He was really good at playing, and it was also my first time seeing my cousin playing competitively.

After the game we went to get something to eat and get ready to drive down to Dressmart. Later on, we went to the Ellerslie Eagles' club to have my cousins' prize giving.

Tech Wood-Work By Konzay

Today my partners and l are doing wood-work at Tamaki Collage for Tech.

What is it?
The  object that I am going to be making out of wood is a space-car.

Why choose this one?
I really like cars so that's why l want to make this item and also because my brother likes cars too.

What is it for?
This object would be a space-car.

Who is it for?
My space-car would be for my little brother who is only 5 years old.

How will it be used?
It would be used to make my brother think that he would be in space with a car.

Where will it be used?
It would be in my brother's room on the top of the ceiling.

Is there anything l have to consider for it's safe use?
To sand-paper the side so that it won't hurt my brother.

The Sweet, Tasty Red Kiwifruit

My teacher Mrs. Golder was really pleased with my current events work, and used it as a model to show my classmates what the writing task should look like. Here it is:

Tasks:

  1. Choose and study an event / problem / people that are currently making news or are happening;
  2. Discuss, debate and express an opinion on  the issues that are relevant to us and,
  3. Offer a solution to the problems that affect us most.

In 5 more weeks the kiwifruit marketer will release 30,000 trays full with red kiwifruits.

Zespri are releasing 30,000 trays of red kiwifruit. They are going to be released over the next 5 weeks.

They want feedback from the consumer, retailer and customer.

When they get their feedback to check if it is good or bad, then  they will decide whether to keep on selling the fruit or not.

I think having a red kiwifruit is a good idea because people would think it would be tasty or sweet. And sometimes people might get confused about the red kiwifruit. For my class they will think it is different to them or weird to them also. Someday student might bring it to school for their classmate to taste it. It would also be good for the retailers so they can get more and more money in the future. I would think it would be good for New Zealand to grow them and the growers can share it with the world.

My bad Weekend

In the weekend I went to the beach with my cousin and some of my friends. We went to the Panmure wharf to do bombs off the bridge and compete with each other. The competition was to see who could bomb and make the water go the highest. We were allowed to do a variety of other  bombs and dives.

My friend did a dive but unfortunately he hurt himself very badly. When we arrived at his house, his mum said "What happened?" I then explained to her what happened. After that she took him to the hospital and they said he might stay in hospital for 4 weeks.

General Knowledge About New Zealand

In Room 12 we are learning about NZ. There are only a few students that have finished their writing work about New Zealand. I am only up to my second paragraph so I'll be finished soon.

It is great to learn about New Zealand because it is where I was born. I get help from students that are finished and they help me decide if something is wrong or right.
