Almost Finishing Our Juice Carton

Today this Wednesday my class I went to tech at Tamaki College. At tech, my group, Jessica, Kain, Mary-Ruth, Sonie, Kate and Diego were sent to a class known as graphic class. Our teacher Mrs Ferguson
was our art teacher.

At graphic we meet some of the St Pius Students. In the graphic class we were working on juice carton. We learnt that the juice carton has to be the length and the some height, so we had to use a rule to length it and check if it is the some height. It was amazing that we had to draw the image that will be on the front of the carton, and it was also amazing that we could and design it our-self. My juice carton is going to be designed for the Tamaki student that will be thirsty and dehydrated.

Spending Time With My Cousin.

I really enjoyed my holiday, because I had a chance to see my older cousin. My cousin is 15 years old and we have not seen each other ever since he moved to Cook Island.

We spent a lot of time playing games on his PS4. We played Call Of Duty, 2k17 and other games. On last week Thursday his mum and I went to the beach to do a little bit of bombing, and then we had lunch under a massive tree.

When we went back home dinner was already served for my cousin and I, it was taro, chicken, salad and mash potato.

Penguin Swims From NZ To Australia.

A small penguin has swum from New Zealand to Australia. The Fiordland penguin was caught struggling against rocks in the shallow at Kennett river, west of Melbourne, on 10 July.

The Fiordland penguin has been taken to Melbourne Zoo by the marine experts and had been given a balance of fluids and nutrients until it is well enough to eat less food. The penguin has just been let go in the wild and I just hope it would come back to New Zealand.

The penguin has been traveling 2500km

Saving New Zealand

Yesterday on Monday all the Ruapotaka students went on a trip to the Tamaki Estuary around Dunkirk.
We were there to pick up all the rubbish that were lying around. I had lots of fun walking around  looking for rubbish to pick up so it would not effect the birds and sea creatures that could get sick.

We had visitors that had come along the trip that had come from the zoo. Their names were Frazier, Hazel and Ashley. They had told me and the school that the dirty water travels out into the sea and would kill lots of sea creatures.

When we were finished picking up all the rubbish we had time to sit down and eat our lunch next  to the  playground. After we were done eating our lunch we had a free time to play on the park. When started raining we went on the bus to go back to school. I really enjoyed that discovery.
