GPS when you get lost

We have created image notes to share messages about having free data. If you have data you can use it when you are lost. A GPS is cool get it for free and use all your internet.

Our movie display

At the film festival we watched different videos from schools including Tamaki college, Glen Innes Primary, Ruapotaka Primary and much more. One video that stood out for me was "The Focuser" by room 12 at Ruapotaka. I enjoyed the video that we watched and it was very good and when the video was finished we took some photos by the movie display.

The Botanic Gardens

After morning tea we went on the bus to Botanic gardens and it was in Auckland when we got there we saw some pretty flowers and my favourite ones were the red rock flowers. We also saw the Pohutukawa tree and learned that this is also known as our native Christmas tree.

1st, 2nd and 3rd in cross country

This is Mary, Agueer and Brazie. They came 3rd in the year 4 and five cross country race.

This is Limiteti, Fakaola and Tristan and they came 1st in the year 4 and 5 cross country race.

I felt very happy that I tried my best, I came 6th and it's not 1st, 2nd or 3rd but I am just proud of my effort with running. Well done to everyone for trying their best!

The Big Race

It was time for cross country but before the race we took some photos. We had to race around the road and we had to do it two times. Tristan came 1st out of the year 5 boys and Fakaola came 1st out of the year 5 girls. 

Planting our garden

I learned that nurturing the garden means we need to water it everyday. Our garden is slowly growing in the bright warm sun. I take care of our garden by watering it on Thursday. 

My Zoo Trip

Room 9, 10, 7, and 6 went to the zoo to learn about animals. We traveled on a bus so we can go to the zoo. We got their and we saw a man named John. We split into groups of 10 and then we went to see the animals. This is Brazie measuring how long he would be compared to a orangutan. I was the same arm length as Brazie. I really enjoyed the zoo because they had a lot of big cats like cheetahs, tigers and lioness'.

Keeping my Chromebook Safe

I learned how to keep my chromebook safe. I learned that we need to carry our chromebooks with two hands and walk slowly to and from our desk. We also need to take care of it by typing gently and closing and opening our chromebooks properly.

My name is Konzay  and I am 9 years old. My birthday is on April 7th. I was born in New Zealand. I have two brothers and two sisters their names are Jay Tee, Detroit, Ma, and Miklee. I am Maori and Cook Island. My dogs names are Mister and Dooche and my cats name is Puti.

My goal this term is to have a positive attitude towards my learning. My favourite subject is cybersmart and I enjoy learning with my weekly homework. I am good at reading and maths. For maths I enjoy fractions and addition and for reading I do my best to sound out words and explain what has happened in the story.

My favourite music artist is Eminem, Tupac and Matty-B. My favourite sport is rugby league and karate.
